The Noyon Mountain Yurt is our giant yurt. It is 9 metres across which is according to legend was the size of Ghenghis Khans yurt, however his was on wheels and dragged around by 22 Oxen…
The Noyon Mountain yurt has an expansive 8 lattice walls! The crown is 8 feet across and has 3 telegraph pole sized Bagana (Support poles). The yurt provides so much space that it is perfect for hosting; whether that be as a large home, a wedding venue, bar or a teaching space etc etc.
The yurt is named after the Noyon Mountain range which lies just north of the capital of Mongolia, Ulanbaatar. The mountain range is stunningly beautiful and a perfect insight into what Mongolia is; pristine nature and amazing landscapes. The save the Noyon mountain campaign is dearly important to our supplier, so upon his request we thought we’d do a little bit to raise the profile of the campaign by introducing it here and naming our mountainous yurt after it!
We will be building this later in the summer so please look forward for some pictures of the fully built structure later in the season! We will be making plans for it and we will be selling it.
